Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious Century City law firm to find an experienced Billing Coordinator to join its Accounting Department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented billing professional with prior legal industry experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and process client invoices and pre-bills in accordance with attorney and client requirements.
- Manage complex billing arrangements, rate structures, and client-specific billing guidelines.
- Submit invoices through electronic billing platforms and resolve billing rejections or discrepancies.
- Monitor attorney time entry, unbilled time, and accrual requests to ensure timely billing.
- Assist with month-end billing close, reporting, reconciliations, and audit processes.
- Maintain accurate billing records and electronic billing procedures.
- Respond to attorney and client billing inquiries and provide detailed reports and invoice support.
- Collaborate with accounting, collections, and administrative teams on special projects and daily operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal billing experience required.
- Experience with law firm billing practices and electronic billing systems strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to $90,000, depending on experience.

Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
